The architectural remnants of ancient Greece is an example for the art influenced from the myths since most the buildings of architectural excellence were temples for gods, described in the myths such as Parthenon in Athens, Temple of Artemis and Temple of Zeus at Olympia. The name of the two main architectural styles of Greece, called the Doric and the Ionic, was the name of gods in the Greek myths. The early sculptures were created as offerings to temples, which essentially feature the gods such as statue of Poseidon or Zeus, in the museum. The Greek pottery had a characteristic style that also features mainly the myths. In the coins also the same habit was continued that one side of the coin had the face of the god, who is supposed to be the ruler of the state, according to the myth.
